A Message Regarding COVID-19

At Tennyson Court, our staff continues to monitor the latest information about COVID-19 and has implemented numerous policies to keep everyone safe in our residence. This includes heightened sanitation practices and modified activities that are in line with New York State and Federal regulations. Below are additional measures we have taken to provide the highest level of care for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Air Filtration Systems

In addition to increased sanitation protocol, social distancing, and wearing masks, at Tennyson Court, every house has a separate air filter system that has the highest-graded filter installed within. Separate air filter systems and heating/air-conditioning units also prevent air from mixing between buildings, further limiting any chance of exposure. 

SOCIALLY DISTANT DINING ROOMS

We do not need to limit residents to isolated, in-room dining due to our properly distanced dining room seating. Our staff makes sure to keep everything thoroughly cleaned before and after residents dine, along with maintaining social distance guidelines to keep them safe during meals. We are able to safely hold groups of 12-14 residents and staff in our dining rooms, which can also be prepared for small group activities at different times of the day.

Virtual visits and In-Person Visits

Currently, we offer both virtual visits and limited in-person visits. Both options can be scheduled online by filling out the visit form on our website. Virtual visits will be arranged through Google Duo, while in-person visits will only be allowed following our screening process to ensure a safe experience for guests, residents, and staff.
